We first got to know Marissa as a friend through pickleball, and we quickly saw her 24/7, Type-A work ethic firsthand. When we decided to sell our unique home, we had already moved out of town, and that’s when we really saw what made her exceptional. We essentially told her, “It’s your home now,” and she took that seriously. She managed every contractor, inspector, showing, repair, landscaping project, and staging decision from start to finish. For every major expense, she brought us multiple bids and was incredibly creative about where to spend to maximize the value of the home. By the time it went on the market, the transformation was incredible. We actually had a hard time saying goodbye to the house! At times, Marissa felt less like a real estate agent and more like a glorified general contractor, project manager, and advocate all in one. We now live outside the Bay Area, but we will recommend her to anyone we can. If we ever make our way back, she’ll be the first person we call.

My wife and I recently bought a home in Richmond, California to be closer to family. We were lucky to find somebody as intense and stubborn as I am who was willing to stick with us through an extended 1 ½ - year search. I can best describe Marissa as a very strong woman. She has her own opinions, knows her mind well, and is not afraid to speak out. She reacts quickly and decisively and is not afraid to make a decision or to face the consequences of a decision. It is quite possible you will disagree with her if you work with her (we certainly did) but you will find she has your best interest at heart. In short, she is a great person to have in your corner as you battle the unforgiving real estate market in the Bay Area. Marissa is very bright and an extremely hard worker. She knows a great deal about the Bay Area real estate market and she does a great job keeping up with the many trends in the market. Thus, she did a very good job predicting selling prices. Marissa knows many of the real estate agents in the area so she is privy to quite a bit of “inside information” which is very useful in house hunting. She also has many contacts that can help clients both before and after the sale (e.g. contractors, appliances, etc.). We moved into our new house about four weeks ago. We have had problems with appliances, irrigation system, etc. Marissa contacted us 2 or 3 times a week to check up on us and to help us negotiate the difficult problems of parts, repairs, home warranties, etc. In other words, she is willing to continue to help out after the sale.
