She was always willing and able to meet our time frame for house hunting and always kept us posted on what was available. During the process of selling our home, Stacy was a great communicator. That is extremely important during a very stressful time. She was extremely knowledgeable about the market and saved us a lot of time and effort by making suggestions that were very relevant. We knew from the first moment we met that Stacy was the way to go. She made us feel like she was as interested in selling our house as we were. Stacy recently handled the sale of our second home at Lake Oconee. We are so pleased that we contracted Stacy as our realtor! Where do we start? We met Stacey back in 2010 when we started our search for our perfect Lakehouse at Lake Oconee. First thing Stacy & her husband did was take on the Lake on their boat to explain many different locations on the lake by the water. After looking at 10 different lakes in the South (we were coming from Pittsburgh PA), we decided that Lake Oconee was what we wanted. While we put in offers, they were all outbids with higher or cash offers. Thinking it wasn’t meant to be. Fast Track to 2019, we were back at the lake to look again. We contacted Stacy again & of course she was surprised since she thought we had bought elsewhere. She was very patient finding us waterfront homes again. We again bid on a few (almost all over asking price), & lost out. Then she asked us to be open minded to looking at townhomes & condos. While we looked at several we ended up loving Pinnacle Point since you get a boat slip. We bid on Unit 310 a 4 bedroom, 31/2 bath & lost out to a cash offer. Stacy knew we were frustrated, but 3 days later called to say Unit 307 was going on the market, but if we came in at asking price it was ours, while it was a 3 bedroom we put in and offer and got it. We closed July 15th 2021. Well for Stacy, first one sold. We loved Pinnacle Point and all the amazing friends we made but knew we were still looking for a Waterfront home. So in 2024 we started our search again with Stacy. With Covid there were not many choices. Again she was patient showing us different locations on the Lake and it became clear to us some locations we liked, and others not so much due to difficulty to get to, and distance from stores and restaurants. While we found a few, we kept ping back to one. There were pro’s & con’s. We were very concerned about the topagraphy of the land and concerns with water drainage. Stacy even went over with a contractor when it was pouring down rain (above and beyond the call of duty). It wasn’t good, so back to the drawing board. Finally a home came on the market and saw it on 4/22, loved it. We made an offer & after some negotiations we closed on 5/29/24. Another sale for Stacy. Fortunately we needed to sell our Townhouse, so we listed with Stacy again. It took awhile to sell, but e finally sold and closed on 2/21/25. That is a trifecta! While we may not need Stacy again at the Lake, we have grown a friendship, and respect the hard work & patience she gave us thru this journey. We had driven 6 hours and had set aside just an afternoon to find our dream home.
