Throughout her career, Salima has prided herself in putting her clients’ interests ahead of her own. A graduate from Brooklyn Law School and the University of Pennsylvania, her detailed knowledge of contracts and real estate law, including residential and commercial sales and leasing, gives her clients an edge during negotiations. Prior to joining Smith and Associates, Salima was a VP of Global Compliance at Goldman Sachs & Co in New York, NY and London, UK. She provided regulatory and compliance expertise on a number of matters including real estate asset investments and mortgage-backed securities offerings. Salima has always been passionate about real estate and building a sense of community wherever she goes. She was elected Treasurer of the MOMS Club of Tampa/Westchase and helps to plan service events for i-CERV, a youth service organization in Florida. Salima and her husband have two young boys and truly believe that Tampa, FL is the best place to raise their family. On weekends you can find them at their kids’ soccer games, enjoying the weather along Riverwalk or strolling through one of Tampa’s weekly outdoor markets.
