She is very good at asking the right questions, listening, and observing her clients to hone in on the most salient aspects of what the client needs but might not even realize is most important yet. We had decided to move from the suburban pacific northwest to an inner city, probably north side, chicago neighborhood and were ready to buy quickly. She started by showing us what we thought we wanted and then tailoring location, size, and finishes based on what she observed from our site visits. We were able to find a home under construction by a superb builder known to nancy. She helped us work with the builder to customize the finishes to fit us perfectly. The finishing process took several months and nancy stayed in constant contact the whole time and even after we moved in she checked in often to make sure our transition went as smoothly as possible. We first met Nancy when we moved into our home in Lincoln Park after moving to Chicago from Singapore. We are so thankful that we decided to view that home because it ended up becoming the home of our dreams that we now live in, one which we were able to customize and pick the finishes according to our personal taste. Despite it being an unprecedented and complicated transaction that was filled with uncertainty, Nancy walked us through every step of the way, talking to us on the phone multiple times a day to check in on how we were feeling, reassuring us, and answering our questions. Throughout the months of negotiating the deal and managing the build of our home, Nancy demonstrated her knowledge and expertise as a luxury realtor while always making us feel that she was putting our interests first. What she was able to offer ranged from her professional services and advice as our realtor, to the emotional support as a dear friend, and even her great eye for details and design when we were decorating our home! We cannot be anymore grateful to Nancy that we now live in a beautiful home in a wonderful community where our kids go to an amazing public school just 5 minutes away from home.
