Kathy has lived in Manchester for over a decade. But this isn't the first time she's lived in the area. She also grew up in Manchester where she spent her childhood on the nearby slopes. After graduating from the University of Vermont, Kathy left for Manhattan, where she spent 14 years, the majority of that time working as an Accessories buyer for Barney's New York, before deciding to return to her childhood home. This time she brought her husband, Patrick, from Old Brookville, Long Island and their 3 children - Ava, Annette and George - so they could be raised in the magic that is Vermont. It's been many years since she came back, and Kathy and her family are happier than ever in the Green Mountain State. Never at a loss for things to do, the family takes full advantage of the year-round outdoor activities in Manchester including hiking, skiing, skating, playing soccer, attending local sports games throughout town and taking advantage of the incredibly rich cultural and outdoor life the area offers. Kathy is also an active member of the community and having been involved in fund raisers for the Manchester Community Library as well as a current board member at The Maple Street School. With Kathy's kids having attended various local schools (both public and independent), and her husband Patrick coaching soccer and teaching at Burr and Burton Academy, her alma mater, she has first-hand knowledge on the multitude of academic offerings in the area. While her oldest daughter Ava just graduated from Boston College, her younger daughter Annette attends Villanova University and her son George just started at The University of Miami. Kathy has a deep, street-level understanding of the market, which serves her extremely well when matching her clients to their homes, whether they are seeking vacation homes or primary residences. She has patience and understands that the process can take time and adjusts to each clients timeline and approach. Knowing this is the largest purchase of most people's lives she wants to make the process easy and work on at a pace the buyers are comfortable with. She won't disappear when the purchase is done and is always there to advise people on local tips homeowners may need. She also has vast experience listing homes and advising sellers how to best have their home appeal to more buyers, from staging, to timing and pricing. Marketing a property is a delicate balance between math, science and gut instinct. She works with each seller to find the right way to approach the sale of their home. Finding the right agent is about connection and communication and if you read her testimonials, it is evident that Kathy does both successfully!
