John made this out of state transaction so easy. From the beginning, when he started sending listings, he was very connected to what we were looking for. His communication was excellent and he was so knowledgeable of the area. He was able to help us negotiate and get a great property to fit our budget. He also recommended a great local lender which made the process even smoother! We highly recommend John!

Top notch! Professional, courteous, skilled negotiator.

John is a fantastic realtor, I could not recommend him more highly. Beyond his knowledge and competence in his trade, he is kind, responsive, and willing to go above and beyond. For example, he was more than happy to help find local professionals to work on our new property after the closing date. He knows the area well as a resident, and is willing to work hard to find the perfect home for his clients. I'd recommend him to my own family if they are looking to move to Maine.

Consummate professional. Great follow-up. Would absolutely use John as my primary go to person for real estate. And there will be more to come!

We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor for our experience buying on the Schoodic peninsula. John's knowledge of the local area is truly exceptional, and he brought a level of insight and perspective that made us feel confident throughout the entire process. John was incredibly communicative, responsive, and patient from start to finish and was always available to answer questions, talk through options, and provide thoughtful advice without ever making us feel pressured. When a few small inspection hurdles came up, he was instrumental in helping us navigate them calmly and efficiently, making what could have been stressful situations feel completely manageable. Most of all, we really appreciated having someone who was not only an excellent realtor, but also a trusted advisor. John genuinely cared about helping us make the right decisions and was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. We would highly recommend John to anyone looking to buy or sell in Down East Maine. His local knowledge, professionalism, communication, and genuine dedication to his clients are truly outstanding!

Exceptional Was there for us throughout Over and above our expectations

Our realtor, John Bettis was amazing! Being that we live in NC, it can be somewhat stressful trying to find a second home from out of state. John helped to make this a much smoother process. John went above and beyond what most realtors would do. Also, Northern Maine is SPECTACULAR!

John Bettis is the best realtor a seller could possibly have! His work is professional, efficient, and timely. From the time our property was put on the market, it was sold within three weeks. Thank you, John,, for your outstanding work. We deeply appreciate you!

When we bought this property, it had been on the market for two years and the price had dropped repeatedly. When we connected with John Bettis, he sold it within three weeks and at almost twice what we paid for it. At a very long distance, he helped us get the property cleaned up and ready for sale, he got our personal items out, and procured the most amazing drone photography of our little island. We could not be happier.

John was amazing right from the start. Not only was he professional and extremely motivated but does an outstanding job on getting your property sold and for the right price. Thanks to him and Wendy, we were able to sell our property fast and for a high price. John and Wendy work together and should have all the stars in the world for the work they do. We couldn't be happier.
