28 years ago, when we purchased our Winston-Salem home, Denise Hickman was a young realtor working and learning with our then realtor, Sandee Lawless. When my wife and I decided it was time to downsize and make a transition to the retirement community of Salemtowne, we turned to Denise to guide us. Her attention to detail was superb - great first meeting at her Berkshire Hathaway office. Great selection of 'comps' to guide us in pricing our home. She proposed a price significantly above what my wife and I assumed the market would support and, within two weeks, she had found a buyer who was qualified and comfortable with the price and making an offer. She guided us through Due Diligence, inspections, repeated visits by the buyer, all of the paperwork - right through to the contract, sale, and Deed recording. Yesterday was closing and we received our check! Denise did an outstanding job supporting and guiding us in the sale of our home.
