We were referred to Mark by my barber Jon. Mark had secured a home purchase for Jon about 6 years ago. There are so many choices for realtors, so it is difficult to know how and who to choose. A local recommendation from a trusted source made the difference for us.Our experience with Mark was excellent. We bought the home sight unseen as we were living overseas. Because of the tight market we felt we had to act quickly. Mark did a walk-through using Skype. He was straight-up with his assessment of the house and did not try to sugar coat it. Everything was handled professionally and thoroughly. Including offer prep, communications with sellers agent, inspection service etc etc. Mark was very quick to reply to any questions via email, text or phone. And was available basically 24/7 which was helpful when you are 6 time zones away.The house turned out to be everything we expected and more when we finally did arrive back in the US and get to see it. Mark's assessment of the house was 100% accurate. During the whole process we did not feel any pressure from Mark. Just good sound advice on the market and options to consider.Perhaps the most telling observation and what ensured we would recommend Mark and use him again in future is how he continued to support us well past closure. Any request was responded to and supported promptly - from electrician referrals to helping store personal stuff while we were waiting for possession etc. etc. This continues to today (months past closure) with Mark frequently checking in to see if there is anything more he can help with.I am mot the kind of person who writes reviews often, only when there is exceptionally good or poor service. So in this case for Mark I thought it was indeed exceptionally good. I also like to think I explain all, not just the good, but in Mark's case I cannot think of a negative comment. A pleasure to deal with him, both professionally and personally.

My wife and I had lived for the previous 27 years in Colorado and New Mexico, but as our kids and grandchildren are in North Carolina and Kentucky, we wanted to relocate so that we could spend more time with them. We had done some internet searching and felt that the Asheville area would best meet our requirements. So cold turkey we called Mark.Well I must say, Mark is one very patient person. We did numerous searches through every database we could find and made lists of places we wanted to see. We flew into Asheville several times and met with Mark. Through discussions and home viewing Mark pretty well figured out what we wanted and where in the area we would like to live. As we are somewhat picky, this took considerable time, but Mark was considerate and patient. He advised us on what/where would best fit our requirements. And he showed us many places at our request before we finally settled on the house that we purchased in an incredible neighborhood. I highly recomend Mark! And we have recomended him to our friends and family who have chosen to relocate in this area.
