It's been a week since we've moved into our new home and I honestly don’t know where to begin when it comes to thanking our realtor and, more importantly, our friend, Mark Lavin from Mackey Realty. From the very beginning, Mark went above and beyond to help us find our home. We looked at what felt like 15 houses, and somehow, he always seemed to know exactly what we were looking for and what would fit our taste. He was patient, dedicated, and worked incredibly hard to make sure we found the right place. And our journey definitely wasn’t without its challenges! Between dealing with a probate issue and a closing that ended up being extended by an entire month, Mark was there through every twist and turn. He handled it all with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. He made what could have been an incredibly stressful move to a brand-new state feel remarkably smooth. But Mark didn’t just help us find our forever home. He also became an integral part of helping me get settled professionally and played a huge role in connecting me with Jonny’s Barbershop. That means more to us than words can really express. One of the most special parts of this whole experience is that Mark wasn’t just our realtor — he became one of the very first friends we made here in Asheville. Moving to a new state and starting a new chapter can be intimidating, but having someone like Mark in our corner made it feel like we were home before we even really knew the area. We are incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done for us, Mark. You helped us find the place we get to call home, helped make our transition possible, and gave us a friendship that we know will continue for many years to come.
