Originally from Crown Point, Indiana, Yvonne Gooldy entered the real estate industry in 2003 and enjoyed a successful career with McColly Real Estate—Northwest Indiana’s #1 brokerage—before relocating to the Sarasota area in 2012. Throughout her career, Yvonne worked with homes in all price ranges and lifestyle options within her market area. In this time, she developed award-winning skills in assisting first-time home buyers, empty nesters, investors, transferees in/out of state and luxury properties. While with McColly Real Estate, she was a member of the McColly President's Council for her annual sales since 2005 in residential real estate and in the New Homes Division as an account manager. Yvonne earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in journalism from Calumet College in Hammond, IN, and worked as an advertising graphic designer. A later position in sales gave her the confidence in her abilities to transition to the real estate arena. Her extensive marketing experience is passed on to her clients, who benefit from her proficiency with gaining exposure through the internet and various media channels. To enhance her service, Yvonne has completed courses to attain the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Distressed and Short Sales and Foreclosures Resources (SFR) designations, and is in the process of completing the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) requirements. She has also earned certificates in Green Building.A proud supporter of her community, Yvonne volunteered as a Loaned Executive with the United Way Fundraising Campaign, was a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, a board member of the Northern Indiana Alzheimer Association, and worked with the 2012 Sarasota Film Festival. Yvonne is also a proud member of the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, outdoor activities, the beach, music, travel and the arts and her extensive Indiana and Florida family.
