When I relocated to Richmond approximately nine years ago Tony helped me buy a beautifully renovated condominium in a historic building in the Museum District. When I was ready for a larger place, he helped me sell that home and guided me through the purchase of a townhome that was being constructed in Goochland. He also aided my son with the purchase of his first home, a condominium that was in the process of being built. Consequently, Tony has done it all for me (and my son) and excelled in every aspect of the buying and selling process. As a buyer’s agent he showed great patience in finding not just any home, but a home that was just right for me. His wealth of knowledge regarding new and older home construction was invaluable when it came to pointing out the pros and cons of the properties we looked at. The numerous industry contacts that he referred me to during the buying and selling process all proved competent and reliable. When I was looking to buy, Tony was always ready and willing to look at any property that I wanted to view. Prior to selling my home Tony set out a timeline on a calendar showing every phase of the sale process, including an anticipated listing and sale date. In my case the sale process involved repairs, painting, an appraisal, moving, cleaning and staging. We hit all those dates, just as Tony predicted. The sales price we decided on was what we got. When I was buying Tony’s advocacy was as all-encompassing and methodical as when we sold. When we bought my first home, Tony patiently explored much of Richmond with me until we found what was just the right place for what I needed at the time. He helped me navigate the many pitfalls that might arise when buying a pre-owned home. What we bought not only served me well but appreciated greatly in value during my ownership. The second home Tony helped me buy was currently being built. At Tony’s suggestion we met each week to view its progress and stayed in close contact with the builder. He was present at every meeting with all parties involved (the builder’s sales agent, builder, inspector, banker and closing attorneys), and was always willing to call them on my behalf. I got used to their remarking that Tony’s representation was above and beyond what they have seen from other buyer’s agents. Over the years I have touted Tony’s abilities to everyone I came across wanting to buy or sell a home, and I will continue to do so.
