During the last four decades my wife and I had retained several real estate agents to handle our properties. We must say Tare ranks number 1 among all of them because she provided worry free service during the most difficult time.
I had been renting out the Claridge House apartment for many years. Tare regularly has clients in the building. Although I had not retained her at the time, she generously gave me advice about my unit.
In March 2020, COVID struck. My two tenants were students of GWU which changed to online classes. My tenants wanted to break the lease ahead of August 2020 lease end. There was a real prospect of the apartment sitting empty for an indefinite period while I was homebound being a senior with higher COVID risk. So, I turned to Tare.
Tare immediately put me at ease. She took the initiative to inspect the apartment mindful of COVID safety of tenants. She guided me through tenant early lease break, security deposit procedures, and DC regulations. She arranged for apartment repairs and cleaning. With her deep understanding of the market, she developed a strategy to sell the unit to medical students if GWU medical school opened for Fall of 2020.
Tare had everything ready without me being there. As soon as GWU announced opening of the medical school she put the unit on the market and sold it within days! I had never been so happy and relieved with a real estate transaction.
Tare knows the market, the buildings in the neighborhood, and regulations. She gets things done competently and with total honesty. She looked after my interests but also was fair to the buyer, we were both happy. I recommend her highly and, and wish her ever greater success. I will be extremely happy to be her reference.
