Susan went above and beyond to find me the perfect home. She had an understanding of the features I was looking for in a home and found properties that were well matched. Being a Charleston native, she was very familiar with not only Charleston but the surrounding areas too. This was very helpful as I had limited knowledge of neighborhoods and developments in and around Charleston. It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity to recognize the efforts of Susan Reubish of Carolina One Real Estate during the selection and recent purchase of our new home at the above address. This was my seventh home purchase and by far my most pleasant home-buying experience for all of the following reasons:

• Susan is persistent and flexible. We first corresponded with Susan approximately two years ago regarding the possibility of moving into a newer, more updated home in the local area. Susan promptly offered assistance and suggested search queries to the MLS database and elsewhere that matched our selection criteria. We reviewed literally hundreds of different properties and Susan coordinated showings of a dozen or more properties, some multiple times. To make it even more challenging, we also asked Susan to modify the search criteria several times to search for different types of properties including water front, marsh view, rural country, Crowfield Plantation specific, fixer-uppers, and even rental property. She insisted on being present for two home inspections as well as the home closing, and was always available at our convenience, even on Sundays and holidays. Regardless, Susan remained amenable, flexible, and always excited to help and adjust as necessary to meet o ur needs.

• Susan is diligent, proactive, and comprehensive. Her many services included a significant amount of research on our behalf, not just to find the right home, but also to provide us with valuable information and references to reputable vendors regarding home inspection, home warranty, mortgage lenders, real estate and banking industry standard practices, termite bonding, and even literature to help us address an inspection issue regarding the windows in our new home. She is incredibly resourceful and has many “friends in the business” so to speak who respect her and were willing to contribute to her creation of a complete turn-key real estate package. This is a real luxury, particularly given the risks associated with all the changes in today’s mortgage industry as a result of the real estate bust and economic recession.

• Susan has a relentless desire to satisfy the customer. She was always eager to get involved in every aspect of our home selection and purchase, and she constantly followed up on even the smallest details with frequent written and/or verbal communication. She applies her knowledge in all matters with a tenacity that makes her a very efficient and effective realtor.

• Susan has a courteous and professional manner that earned our confidence and made it easy to trust her as she safely guided us every step of the way through what is typically a very challenging and complicated process. Susan was truly a pleasure to work with during this entire real estate transaction. We give her highest marks and congratulate her on a job VERY WELL DONE!
