Stephanie was amazing! We had relocated to the East Coast and she helped immensely in recommending and managing several updates to the sale property in preparation for listing. I think we took every recommendation she had (e.g. paint this, replace that, do staging, misc repairs) and are glad we did! Her prep, planning, and professional marketing resulted in an amazing offer that we accepted the first day the townhouse was on the market--for ~$130k OVER ASKING!!! Our place is off Willow Road adjacent to the Willows, and she was super knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the target audience. We actually happened to run into Stephanie at a showing of a house where we did not like the house but were really impressed with her knowledge of the Bay Area especially in the areas we were looking ( Los Altos, Menlo Park, Redwood City ). Our criteria when we started looking was to find a bigger house but in a good school district ( we live in San Jose ). Stephanie was fantastic in helping us figure that out where she would send us detailed emails / research articles to point out the different options we could explore in terms of schooling ( paired with the location ). I can’t stress how valuable this was for us since it would mean how the most important years of our Childs education would be shaped & making that decision after having looking at all facts with Stephanie made the process much more easier & satisfying. The other standout quality about Stephanie was her honesty, we must have looked for almost 6-7 months & we were difficult as a couple as both me & my wife wanted different things in a neighborhood ; so we always looked for someone who would provide a different perspective & we totally found that in her. There were times when we LOVED some houses & would want to put an offer ASAP but she would point out the pitfalls & steer us away from putting one. There were also instances where she would not know a few things mentioned in the inspection report, in those cases she was upfront about not knowing but she has an array of contacts with contractors & would immediately get a couple of different contractors to know more about those things BEFORE we made an offer. After our offer got accepted, before moving into the house, we had to do a bunch of work to make the house move in ready, she made that whole process so easy for us by helping us interview various contractors, she even picked the paint for us & gave tips on how to select the furniture as well. She did not really need to do this but it just goes to show her commitment towards her clients. All these things were very re-assuring for us & greatly appreciated. We not only found a great house in the end but also a friend for life ! I highly recommend Stephanie !!
