We recently worked with Shannon Cogan to sell our father’s home as part of this estate and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Shannon demonstrated professionalism, reliability and deep knowledge of the local market. Shannon understood the unique circumstances of an estate sale and approached the process with sensitivity and respect. She provided clear guidance, handled logistics efficiently and kept us informed every step of the way. Her recommendations for preparing and staging the condo for sale were thoughtful and effective, ultimately resulting in a smooth and successful transaction. We appreciate Shannon’s calm, organized approach and felt confident knowing everything was in capable hands. We highly recommend Shannon Cogan to anyone looking for a dedicated and trustworthy real estate professional.

Shannon is an expert in her field! She helped us every step of the way when we purchased our investment property. She is knowledgeable, efficient, and prompt. She went above and beyond for us on a number of occasions, for example meeting inspectors and repair workers when we were unable to. She made the buying process easy and fun! She has helped us learn the ropes with the vacation rental process and is always willing to answer questions, respond to tenant concerns and attend to property issues when we are unable to.

I chose Shannon to be both my buyer's and seller's agent because she's an achiever; a true go-getter. Her knowledge of the local market steers you in the right direction when putting your home on the market. We had well-advertised and well-attended Open Houses. She provided all of the social media, online and otherwise thorough announcements for the sale of our home. Offers and contracts were well negotiated. Issues were communicated without delay and resolved, often without any hassle to me. Shannon also made finding my new home a pleasure. She took the stress of the situation on herself and her eternal optimism and can-do attitude never faltered. She solved any problem or knew who could. I am in a home that I love because of her. Do yourself a favor and make the best real estate decision by hiring Shannon Cogan.

Anyone can do a good job when things are easy, but it’s when things get difficult that the truly exceptional rise to the occasion. This is exactly what happened when a blocked sewer pipe threatened to ruin our vacation. Shannon had already been great to work with in originally securing the rental, always following up promptly and answering our questions (even when she was away herself!) But when things went wrong, she really went to work, finding us an emergency plumber when the owners wouldn’t and staying in constant touch with us while he was working. When we realized we would have to relocate, Shannon got us a full reimbursement for the rental plus expenses for our hotel. Vacation saved, and we found a realtor that we know and trust for when we are ready for our Jersey shore dream home. Shannon was truly an advocate for her clients, and her upbeat attitude and determination to help made an unpleasant situation a lot less unpleasant than it might have been. I’d never rent from those owners again, but I would work with Shannon again in a heartbeat.

Shannon helped make a celebration vacation to Ocean City extra special. Our family was celebrating a 20th wedding anniversary, and 16 & 13 birthdays all the same week. She helped us find the perfect rental that made our week perfect! Big enough for all of us plus guests, close to the boards for the teens, and clean with appliances & some extras for the parents! Thank you Shannon for putting in the extra effort to make our visit a memorable experience.
