Raina Ruben took on a very complex and difficult deal and did an amazing job, ultimately landing us our dream home. We had the largest house in our neighborhood and needed to sell it in just a couple of weeks in order to secure the property in question. There was nothing else on the market we were interested in, and we had had a deal fall through with these sellers 6 months before. For that reason, they would not take any offers with home-sale contingencies, and we were not even sure if they would work with us again at all. With Raina's support, we were able to lock in a new contract on that property even though we still had a home-sale contingency. This deal involved four separate parties, all buying homes with home-sale contingencies - a true house of cards.
The deal became more difficult after we were ratified, with sellers needing many accommodations due to critical illnesses, and buyers threatening to pull out of the sale for small, subjective repairs on closing day (such as a drawer being painted shut, and after we had performed all of their many and significant requested repairs), but Raina had the experience and wisdom to handle all of these challenges throughout the deal, and got us through closing. Even after closing, when we discovered that our new property was left filthy and full of trash, Raina continued to support us, helping us cover cleaning and other fees.
We are so happy in our new home, and could not be more grateful to have had Raina's support throughout the process. I truly do not think it would have happened without her. Thank you, Raina!
