Nellie is a master at orchestrating the incredibly complex process of finding the right home, while selling one's own, and transitioning into a new life. Since my wife and I each had a separate home to sell, this has meant an amazing challenge to fit all the moving parts together in such a way that the selling and buying and moving are coordinated properly. I'm not sure exactly how Nellie managed it but everything has worked out perfectly because of Nellie's masterful engagement in each aspect of the process. Our new home is 125 years old and comes with a lot of issues along with great charm. Nellie knew just the the right contractors and skilled engineers who were able to step in and and fix some fairly serious problems that might have sabotaged the whole contract. One thing I particularly admired was her sense of timing and when to push and when to pause and wait as the various offers and counter-offers where taking place. She has a great sense of timing, which, in retrospect, saved us both considerable money. Although she was always able to suggest a constructive approach to all of the problems that have emerged, ultimately she realized these decisions were ours to make, and has always been respectful and supportive over these past few months. Nellie is a master negotiator and has so much experience as a realtor that I felt I could always trust her to help us find a way forward. She has made this daunting process of selling two homes and buying a third one possible, and even at times, fun!
