Mike and Nicole were the best. My husband and I were buying from out-of-state, and they made our process very easy and smooth. We had not met them in person and did everything over video chat or phone calls. The trust we had in them to help us make the right decision and find the perfect fit for our large and particular family was tremendous. By the end of the purchase they felt more like family than people we just met. We will never be able to thank them enough and truly express our thanks and gratitude. Highly recommend using them to help find a new home!

Mike and Nicole were amazing to work with! They were honest and upfront about disclosures, the process and everything in between, which is something we truly appreciated. They were patient with us and really wanted us to find a home that was best for our family. Mike and Nicole were so positive and uplifting throughout the entire process. They are extremely knowledgeable and they made the process run so smoothly. We would absolutely recommend the two of them to anyone! We are so happy to be in our home and can’t thank them enough!

Working with Mike O'Brien to sell my home was, in a word, fantastic. As you might imagine, selling a house in which you raised your family and lived for nearly three decades can be emotional and taxing. Add to that, in my case, an older home with a lot of challenges. During all this Mike was not only professional but always there on a personal level to offer support, suggestions, and clear guidance. I prefer people to give me straight-forward advice when offering a professional opinion and that is Mike. He was clearly sensitive to some of the more challenging aspects to selling our house, but his professional opinion was always clear and concise. As for the sale itself, it went off quickly and without a hitch. Mike was there every step of the way to ensure there were no problems and when we did find an issue or two (unrelated to Mike) he helped shepherd things through to the end. Words I would use to describe him are: professional, sensitive, friendly, decisive, thoughtful, and intelligent. Put them together in any order you wish, it all spells out someone worth working with. I can't really imagine buying or selling another house without Mike in my corner. That is a 100% endorsement of Mike O'Brien and Benchmark Real Estate.

We recently bought a home in Maine while living across the country in Colorado, and we couldn't have done it without Mike O’Brien. From start to finish, he went above and beyond. Every showing was done over FaceTime, and he stayed in constant communication throughout the entire process. Mike was incredibly patient and truly took the time to understand our wants and needs. He was never pushy about anything and genuinely wanted us to love the home we were buying. His honesty and transparency gave us peace of mind, especially buying from so far away. His deep knowledge of the local areas and what to look for in a home was invaluable. When it came time for inspections, title work, and financing, Mike had trusted professionals ready to go, all of whom came highly recommended and made the process that much smoother. We felt supported every step of the way, and we’re so grateful to have had Mike on our side. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor. He made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless!

Mike was instrumental in helping my wife and I buy our first home. He was looking at our lot we were building and pointed out a critical issue with the land, one of which the developers were not readily disclosing. That led us to change plans to build a much better lot and the customer who built the original lot ended up with lots of flooding issues. For his foresight, we are forever grateful! Mike stayed with us through the entire build, extensions, disruptions and all and was a huge advocate for us during the process. Many thanks to Mike and his team at Benchmark. We highly recommend him!

The realtor was friendly Informant and easy to approach with any questions I had about the whole process. We would highly recommend using Mr. O’Brien. We were moving out of state and he helped us find a reliable, trust worthy realtor in Massachusetts, and we loved her so yes, I’m saying it again I would highly recommend Mr. O’Brien as a realtor I’m hoping to work with him again in the future.

Mike was an amazing realtor, he was able to adjust and change our search options quickly and had amazing availability. He was honest and super helpful when pointing out pros and cons! 100% recommend him if you are looking for a realtor.

Mike truly made this long distance closing as seamless as possible. I was handling my brother’s estate from 365 miles away and Mike facilitated every transaction as if I was there. He stepped above and beyond in hiring property maintenance at a fair and reasonable price. He even did a little clean up himself! I would never have gotten through this sale without Mike. Thank you, Mike

After our big cross country move, we were desperate to find a place to call home. With such a competitive market, it was hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Mike and Nicole met with us every weekend for MONTHS to look at what felt like every house on the market. When we felt discouraged, they helped us stay positive and hopeful. They worked tirelessly to help us find our perfect home in Maine! There is no way we could have done it without them.

Mike was extremely involved and attentive in our home buying search and did not let us settle for less than the perfect home! After only two showings we had found the one and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!!
