Met Michael Chait during an open house. Our two kids put the place upside down, he didn’t even blink. Calm like water. I knew he was the right person to work with. We searched for a future home for more than 2 years before we found the right one. He remained very passionate through the entire process but never made us feel pressured. If there is something he doesn’t like in a property, he will certainly speak up. He never sugarcoated anything. Very knowledgeable. During several open houses, I witnessed how he outsmarted a bunch of Instagram and Tiktok stars or online created “Brokers of the Year”. His knowledge covered topics way beyond real estate, such as town regulations, engineering, construction, insurance, landscaping, investment aspects of the matter. As a professional photographer he indeed had the ability to look at things from the right angle. If your realtor doesn’t have a vision for things, you will miss a bunch of opportunities. What I realized over the years is that the anxiety with buying a house doesn’t arise from the obvious things you can see, but from the fear of the unknown, the idea that you might be overlooking something, the unforeseen, the hidden. Unfortunately, there is only so much you can do. With Michael, I always knew that he had my back. Never felt alone in the journey. He was always well prepared for every property we saw together. In fact, he knew more than the sellers’ realtors’. For us, the only thing left was to wait for the right house and just enjoy the ride through the house hunt. So, yes it took us 2 years to find the right house and we did lose several bids, but thanks to Michael, the process was far from stressful. Even after we closed, he continued to support me with everything I needed during the moving process. Recently, we trusted him with our rental property. I have no doubt he will do a great job. I’m most certainly looking forward to working with him in the future.
