In December of 2020, my family went to Megan with a list of requirements that seemed impossible to meet at the time. We were looking to purchase two units of a newly built multi-family property in the Jersey City Heights area, we had a price point we did not want to go over, and we needed to be closed on the property/moved out of our temporary living situation by the end of February 2021. Not only was Megan up for the challenge but she exceeded any expectations we could have possibly had. Within a week’s notice, she had put together multiple showings of properties that met out requirements, including the house we would ultimately make an offer on. Once the property was identified, she went to work getting us the best price and, in the blink of an eye, our offer was accepted. But her work was far from done then. She made sure to put us in contact with an all-star support team of lawyers and mortgage brokers to ensure we had nothing but the best terms, allowing our closing to go quickly and without a hitch. Due to her efforts, we moved into our home a week earlier than our targeted date. Her effectiveness alone would be enough for a “five-star review” but the most amazing aspect of working with Megan was her calming nature, professionalism and confidence throughout the entire process. We had been looking for a home for the better part of a year when we called her for the first time and had some bad experiences along the way. From day one, there was never a doubt in our minds that Megan was going to deliver on everything we wanted and needed, and we are forever grateful for the home run she gave us in terms of both service and production.

Working with Megan to find my dream condo was a total pleasure-- and a great success! And coming from me, this says a LOT because I am a tough customer: I don't like to shop (for anything), I don't like people "selling" me stuff, I don't like sales people to sweet-talk/charm/patronize me, I don't like to waste time. Megan did NONE of the above. She DID provide me with everything I wanted: First of all, she listened-- and totally understood exactly what my needs were, what I was looking for. My parameters were rather specific and perhaps a bit out of the ordinary. (For starters, I needed a ground floor or top floor with an elevator, both of which are very rare and hard to find in this area.) We first had a couple of phone conversations and exchanged a few emails--in which I gave Megan a clear idea of what I was looking for, and she gave me a sense of what was out there, what was possible. Then she started setting up appointments. I quickly learned that the real estate websites are NOT up-to-date, but Megan IS. She found things that were not yet posted, was so familiar with the properties I inquired about (I couldn't resist checking the websites) that she knew what information I found was or was not accurate. She was SO on the same page as I was--not trying to make a sale, but trying to find me *exactly* what I wanted. And we found it on just Day 2 of looking. When we walked into the place that is now my new home, we both had the sense that, "This is it!" While we waited to hear who won the bid, we looked at one more place on Day 3, just in case... But fortunately, my bid was accepted and it was a done deal! Megan then provided me with all the information I needed on how to proceed with the closing: names of attorneys, inspectors, condo insurance brokers, a time line for exactly what should happen when. She let me know she was always available to answer questions and would guide me through the process every step of the way. And she did. I had been thrust into "search for apartment mode" rather suddenly and unwillingly. It felt like a very stressful, daunting task. I found Megan just by chance, reading profiles on the real estate websites. She sounded both totally professional and personable, so I gave her a call. And I am so glad I did. Her knowledge, confidence, and calm manner immediately put me at ease, and took me out of "stress mode" into "we can do this mode." And we did! For me, a positive personal connection makes or breaks a challenging process like house-hunting. And Megan provided that in spades. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
