Forget Superwoman... We had super Marina!
The funny thing is, we knew we wanted Marina to be our realtor years before we were ready to sell. When we first moved into our townhome in Tanyard Springs, we received one of her mailers. We were immediately impressed by how much she knew about our community market trends, statistics, and just about everything you could think of. We also saw her signs everywhere, so we started calling her the "Tanyard Springs Queen." We told ourselves that when it was time to sell, we'd be calling Marina.
When that day came, we emailed her just to start the conversation. She responded almost immediately, but since we were leaving for vacation, we asked her to follow up a few months later. She contacted us at exactly the time she promised. That professionalism stuck with us. We even spoke with a few realtor friends, but despite Marina's commission being a little higher, we knew she was the right choice and we never regretted it.
Selling our home felt overwhelming. It needed repairs, decluttering, and a lot of preparation. Marina connected us with affordable contractors and cleaners who did excellent work, making the process so much easier. Once our home was ready, she marketed it everywhere. We joked that our townhome was taking over the internet because it seemed to be everywhere we looked!
We had over 60 showings, three open houses, and even two offers that fell through. Some buyers were discouraged by the lack of a walk-in closet, but Marina never gave up. She kept finding new ways to market our home, including military groups and virtual showings. Through every challenge, she stayed positive and reminded us this was all part of the process.
What really sets Marina apart is how much she genuinely cares. She was always available, never late, and never made us feel like just another client. Even while on vacation with her family, she made sure we always had someone to contact, and we never felt left on our own.
Marina is incredibly knowledgeable. She knows the market, real estate laws, statistics, and even has great home repair tips. Somehow she also managed to recommend what to drink when we weren't feeling well! My husband is very professional, while I'm a little quirky, and Marina connected with both of us so naturally. By the end, she felt more like a friend than just our realtor.
One thing I'll never forget is that Marina believed our home was worth more than we did. She wanted us to get every dollar possible, while we kept asking her to lower the price because we were relocating and wanted to sell quickly. That says everything about her integrity she truly fights for her clients instead of simply trying to make a quick sale.
We sold during a difficult market with high interest rates, after we had already moved out of state, and Marina handled everything seamlessly despite the time difference. Looking back, our only regret is not contacting her sooner because we probably could have made even more.
Maybe "Tanyard Springs Queen" isn't enough anymore. Super Marina? Marina the Magician? Whatever you call her, she's simply exceptional.
Thank you, Marina, for your hard work, honesty, empathy, friendship, and for making one of the biggest transitions in our lives so much easier. We are incredibly grateful and recommend you without hesitation!
