Maria helped me to sell my home.
The Day she came over to meet with me, my impression was instantaneously a positive one.
It was clear she had extensive knowledge of the industry. She took a lot of time and energy putting all her efforts into the sale of my home. There was daily communication, support, help, guidance and at no point did I feel I was ever in the dark on any matter concerning my home.
She genuinely cared about me, it did not once feel like a 'Sale' opportunity, no pushing, no rushing, no stress. Just an overall positive experience, one that I learned so much from. Even the legal papers were read out to me in a proper understanding by her, in depth and detail, so I wouldn't feel anxious about signing anything that might not be crystal clear.
I initially set my home price too high. She made me aware that it was on the pricier side but never once told me to lower it. She wanted me to have a learning experience, allowing me to understand that she was aware of what the correct pricing should have been.
I did end up lowering the price under my decision, it was sold shortly after. She was correct on the pricing from the start. But I am glad I made the decision I did, perhaps I would have second guessed myself had I originally set the price lower and would have wondered if I could have gotten a better price.
In the end, my home sale was higher than the surrounding homes.
The crew she brought in to take pictures did a phenomenal job, the pictures were amazing, there was a professional video made (which I kept for memory purposes) and there was a drone to capture the community from above. She kept an open house most weekends, had a gift basket available with sweet treats for the visitors.
As mentioned on day one, I knew she was highly experienced. So I also decided to use her for the purchase of my new home. She was aware I wanted to be closer to my aging parents. Her knowledge of neighbourhoods was very good.
I requested multiple viewings and from having learned about me over our meetings and discussions, she already knew what kind of place would be suitable for me even though I had no clear idea.
She took me to places I requested to see, knowing exactly I would walk out disappointed. But again, she wanted me to have an idea of what was out there, the pros and cons. A learning experience.
In the end, she found a place for me, messaged me and said this was the one. Of course she was right. The benefits of my new place were numerous. More than I had hoped for.
She fought a good game for my benefit. Not only was the home already lowered in price, she lowered it even more, demanded a professional cleaning, spoke to surrounding neighbours to ensure only the best new home sweet home for me.
My entire lifestyle was taken into consideration ( proximity to Parents, parks, work etc )when it came to finding my new place.
The only regret I had was that my Dad who had suddenly passed never got a chance to see how well Maria had arranged everything and how happy he would have been to have me in a close, safe and beautiful neighbourhood. She did have a chance to meet him, my Mum as well of course. They bonded instantly knowing my well being was her number one concern.
All the recommendations she provided, home inspectors, lawyers etc she has been working with for a long time and they were all great and professional.
Maria made the entire process easy, fun and knowledgeable.
I learned about home Renos, safety standards, schemes and tricks, the good bad and ugly, contracts, policies, and much more.
She will not become a person I had once met, but a friend who I will stay in touch with. In fact, she's become more like an Auntie Maria. Her concern for me was genuine, kind but also strict ( like a Mum who would be advising against certain things ).
Thank you for moving me closer to my Mum Maria. I love my new place and couldn't imagine having worked with anyone else.
You are truly amazing in your line of work. And I'm sure your company is well aware of it.
