Marge was very diligent and did all she could do to sell the house. It, unfortunately, was surrounded by foreclosures for the first couple years. The mayor of Milwaukee didn't help, when he lifted the residency ruling one month before we put it on the market. The house is located 2 blks. within Milwaukee, adjacent to Wauwatosa. Prior to lifting the ruling, we were surrounded by police and firefighters. They fled in droves. For the 2-1/2 yrs. on the market, we had 2 offers, one which we accepted, at a $35,000 loss. It was a very frustrating experience, but no ones fault. Just our dumb luck, I guess. Again, Marge was very helpful with all the open houses, solictating other brokers, and new pictures as the seasons changed. I don't feel there was anything more she could've done.
