Meet Linda Steil (pronounced style). Born and raised south of Durango, CO, Linda spent her childhood vacations camping, hunting and skiing in Southwest Colorado. As a young adult, Linda longed for an action-packed lifestyle and moved to the thriving metropolis of Phoenix. While serving food and beverages poolside at a resort, a guest who was enjoying a prolonged stay, suggested to her a career in real estate. Something that had never occurred to Linda. She grew up in a home her parents lived in for over 50 years so buying and selling houses wasn't something she was familiar with. Linda jumped in headfirst and began her real estate career in 1993. After almost 10 years in the bustling Phoenix market, Linda met and married the father of her two children, Alex 21 and Olivia 17, and they relocated to Michigan for a job promotion. Always longing to return to the Southwest, Linda and her children moved to Montrose to be near grandparents and other family that had all settled here while they were living away. When Linda arrived in Montrose in the summer of 2009, the real estate market was flat. Linda put herself out in the community to get to know the people of Montrose and waited and watched for signs of life in the market. In 2012, she noticed the housing market picking up speed and dovein. It's been a steady climb since and Linda has proudly helped over 250 families from Ridgway to Cedaredge and in between buy and sell a home, generating over 60 million in sales. If you're looking for a Realtor with decades of experience who represents her clients with honesty, integrity & professionalism, give Linda a call. She prides herself on good communication, paying attention to the details and guiding her clients through the complexities of the real estate transaction in a way that makes them feel like it was easy. "Real estate transactions are difficult to navigate sometimes. If, at the end, my client(s) feel like it was easy, then I've done a great job for them. My goal is to manage this major life event that requires great attention to detail, keep them informed along the way and join them at the table on closing day. They can continue to do whatever it is they need or want to do. I've got this!" Linda Steil
