Laurel was exceptional. My husband and I moved to the area recently, after 9 years in a different state, where we had a long-term relationship with a real estate agent we loved. We were nervous about working with someone new (our standards were high), and reached out to a few agents in the area before ultimately deciding to work with Laurel. The process of closing on our new home here was, in a word, absurd. The sellers and/or their agent were difficult to work with from start to finish, and approached the whole negotiation process without boundaries, decorum, or even a sense of how real estate transactions typically go. The home was a unique find, and if we hadn’t been so positive we wanted it, there were many times we would have walked. Laurel, from day one, was communicative, detail-oriented, organized, and a great sounding board. Closing day itself was full of fireworks, and Laurel never once lost her cool while speaking up for our best interest. She also recommended great people for the inspection, mortgage, and closing. The best part? My husband and I both loved our interactions with her. She has a great sense of humor, and what a delight that levity was in the face of some major stress. Thank you Laurel!
