My name is Wayne Scott, I’m a newly licensed Realtor under two years and for the past 8 months I’ve been with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group and will be for the rest of my real estate career.  That’s a very heavy statement for someone just getting into the real estate world, but let me explain why I can confidently make that statement.  Anyone that is new to this business needs to compete with others that have been in the business longer, the only way you can do that is by being surrounded by the best!  The best can be broken down this way:Training – When you join BHHS FLPG you are interviewed and screened by an experienced and knowledgeable broker.  Once the opportunity to join has been extended, you are trained by staff as to where your basic needs are in the office, given temporary business cards, a telephone extension, an email account with access to our intranet where you have your training and marketing materials.  In addition everyone can go through our eight full day classes that will take the inexperienced agent to a knowledgeable one.  There are groups that you can join to grown your business and your self within the company and paid for by the company.  One program that stands out is our HERO’s program which I have benefited from.Personnel – Under the leadership of the owners Dewy Mitchell and Allen Crumbly this organization has flourished.  These gentlemen have hearts and souls big enough to fit football stadiums!  The staff in the corporate office is filled with kind, intelligent, and experienced people that will give you tech support, whom to get in touch with if something is out of your area of expertise, and opportunity to grow your business or grow within the business.Brand – Warren Buffet is an American billionaire with the heart of an educator who is known around the world and when you say you work for his company, that translates into global recognition and associates you in a different class of professionalism.  We strive at this company to improve the lives of those we work with and enhance to local community in where we work.  Growth – This company does not seek to limit you.  I came here willing to work hard and requested that the path that I wanted for my career included property management.  I was trained by Kathleen and Thomas Gaspari on the property management software, the lease process, and tenant process for weeks before I was able to start growing my portfolio.  In the short time I’ve been with this company they have provided me with every opportunity to grow my business, gain experience, expand my knowledge, and excel in the real estate industry.  My success has grown exponentially due to the amazing knowledge, experience, and structure that this company has in place for its agents.

Kathy has been an inspiration to me as a property manager. Our days of Property Management are not without trials and tribulations and Kathy helps us navigate the situations with professionalism and compassion. I'd like to think I am not just speaking for myself when I say us Property Managers can be challenging & demanding at times. Everyone wants an answer or a resolution ASAP. Kathy Gaspari handles each situation (& Property Manager) with grace & understanding. It means a lot to know she has worked "in the trenches" with us before being promoted to her current position, VP of Residential Asset Mgmt. She was as dedicated to her clients then as she is to us now. She (& with occasional assistance from her hubby, Tom) have been there to mentor me, guide me, & push me to get out of my own way!
