As a first-time homebuyer, I honestly didn’t know what to expect when my parents and I started looking for a home. My parents have experience with buying and looking at homes, but for me, this was completely new. Through U.S. Bank, who helped us with our home loan, we were connected with Andrew Timm, and from the very first time we met him, he has been incredible.
The process of finding the right home took longer than we initially expected, but Andrew was incredibly patient and understanding with both me and my parents. He never made us feel rushed or pressured. Instead, he continued to encourage us and remind us that we would eventually find the right home.
One thing that really stood out to me was how knowledgeable and thorough Andrew was when we looked at houses. He wasn’t just interested in finding us a house—he genuinely wanted to make sure we found a good home. He would point out little issues and potential problems that I probably would have never noticed on my own, and he was very direct and honest about what he saw. As a first-time buyer, that gave me a lot of confidence because I knew he was looking out for our best interests.
There were definitely times when we started losing hope because we had looked at so many homes without finding the right one. Andrew, however, remained persistent. He continued sending us homes to consider, encouraged us to keep looking, and kept motivating us toward our goal. There were even times when he went out of his way to show us homes that we hadn’t originally scheduled a time or day to see. That level of dedication really showed us how committed he was to helping us find the right home.
One particular moment really showed me the kind of agent Andrew is. I became very interested in one home, and Andrew put together a proposal for the sellers and was ready to submit it. At the last moment, I started having doubts and told him that I wasn’t sure I wanted to move forward. Andrew was completely understanding. He never pressured me into buying a home I wasn’t comfortable with, and instead respected my decision and gave me the space to make the right choice. I really appreciated that because this was a major decision for me, and I always felt that Andrew cared more about finding us the right home than simply making a sale.
I also want to recognize how well Andrew worked with my parents. My dad has a strong personality and can sometimes come across as cold or very direct, although that is never his intention. Andrew never took that personally. He made a genuine effort to include my dad in every conversation, listen to his opinions, and make sure he felt heard and respected throughout the entire process. That meant a lot to me and my family.
Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful that U.S. Bank connected us with Andrew. He was patient when we needed patience, persistent when we needed encouragement, honest when we needed an objective opinion, and always willing to go the extra mile for us.
Most importantly, Andrew helped us accomplish our goal of finding a home we are truly happy with. As a first-time buyer, having someone like him beside me throughout the process made a huge difference. I learned a lot from him and always felt that he had our best interests in mind.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Andrew Timm to anyone looking to buy a home, especially first-time buyers. He is knowledgeable, dedicated, honest, patient, and genuinely cares about his clients. My family and I are extremely thankful for everything he did for us, and if we ever have the opportunity to work with him again, we absolutely would.
