Dear Jeannie,As I enjoy my calm, stress-free morning commute on the Virginia Railway Express to D.C., I'm amazed that it's been less than two months since we first met, yet we've been living in our new house for almost two weeks. To describe the past several weeks as a whirlwind would be an understatement! We're so very happy fate brought us together, and trust that it was indeed fate because everything has worked out so wonderfully -- we were able to successfully navigate the sudden course change from looking for a rental, to looking for a place to buy, to going through the administrative process, to closing, while at the same time going on a long-planned, two week vacation half way across the country, and still getting everything done and the sale closed in such a timely manner that we were able to vacate our rented apartment precisely at the end of our lease without having to ever pay a month's rent AND a mortgage payment in the same month. I spent 20 years moving around the world in the Navy and have never had a smoother transition. Through it all you were there for us with enthusiasm, giving us the gentle nudge when necessary, always making sure everything went the way it was supposed to, willing to stand up for us, introducing us to a team of professional real estate, mortgage, and home inspection professionals, and generally sharing our excitement in the purchase of our new home.We still have some unpacking to do, but we're super excited to join the Belmont Bay community, and are extremely thankful to have met you, and grateful for all you did for us to get us here! Thank you!!!Sincerely,Paul, Carolyn, Cameron, and Nick Taylor(And Ricky the Camper, and Lucy the Truck too)
