I can't imagine having had a better sherpa through this process. As a first-time home buyer, I really had no idea what was in store. I know it's going to sound hokey, but I mean this: Jan is probably the best part of this whole experience. Sure, it's nice to have a home but life is actually about being good to one another and feeling connected. Jan was so knowledgeable and I felt like she was looking out for me, not just helping me find a home. She is deeply pragmatic, an exceptional listener, and just plain soulful. I am the one who is grateful for having gotten to work with the best real estate agent in San Francisco. It's funny because someone (a friend of a friend) found out that Jan was my agent and their jaw dropped, 'How did he get Jan Medina to work with him.' But I already knew because I had been working with her for a month – that I had plain and simply landed in the care and partnership of a true pro. I literally can't think of a single thing that I can imagine Jan changing. Literally, not a thing.

She has a unique skill set, not only does she have deep market knowledge, but an amazing understanding what will make the property appealing to buyers, great negotiating skills and is a complete pleasure to work with. She literally provided hands on support with our remodel for sale, including input on the design of the rooms, helping us select fixtures, tile, carpeting, closet, paint, etc. Also she recommending and worked closely with the stager to make our unit the most desirable for potential buyers. Her marketing strategy was key to bringing in as many qualified buyers as possible in a softening market, which resulted in several offers. In addition she brought in David Ames who was a great complement. In the end her contributions to bringing our unit to market and the actual selling process were critical to maximizing the value of our sale. I would highly recommend Jan - she is one of a kind agent!
