Jane Walsh brings a unique and valuable set of experience to her clients at Daniel Gale. Jane was a Daniel Gale "Rookie of the Year " in her first year and continues to excel by leveraging her knowledge of home construction and design, along with superior communication, marketing and negotiation skills. Jane's stunning home videos, thoughtfully composed still photography and evocative copy for her listings come from a wealth of production experience. Jane says her goal is to exceed her clients' and customers' expectations at every turn with attention to detail and creativity, but always with honesty and courtesy. The back-story ... As the founder and owner of Jane Walsh DesignGC, LLC Jane has been helping North Shore clients build and refine their dream homes for more than a decade. After getting her Nassau County contractor's license in 2008 she helped to design and build some of the finest projects across Long Island. Jane comments, "Everything I had been doing led me to selling real estate. I know real estate from under the ground and up." Jane's experience in design and construction helps buyers envision the possibilities of their prospective homes and helps sellers prepare and stage their homes: presenting them in the best possible light. Jane also notes, "Many of my construction and design clients would ask me to tour homes they were considering buying. They wanted me involved in choosing the homes they bid on, as they knew I understood mechanical systems, structure and framing and could spot maintenance issues." Prior to her career in construction and design, Jane worked as a TV journalist in Washington, DC. Her degree in Broadcast Journalism and Economics provide the foundation for her excellent presentation skills. For 15 years in the news business Jane worked her way up to the anchor desk of a major market. She was successful in this very competitive business because she always works with enthusiasm and diligence. Jane is a current member, past president and past board member of the Bayview Colony Club in Port Washington. She has served on numerous HSA committees for Our Lady of Grace Montessori, Sousa Elementary, Weber Middle and Schreiber High Schools and is the past president of Port Washington's Football Boosters. Jane has a passion for playing competitive USTA tennis and APTA paddle. Jane is the mother of two boys and she and her husband Simon are long-time supporters of Port Washington Youth Activities (PYA).
