How the home-selling process actually works was a bit of a learning curve for me. The on-line process was ubiquitous, so that was good. Dana's write-up was well done as well. The process that was the learning curve was that I expected Carolina 1 agents to be engaged in routing buyers to the house. Agents from other brokers took care of that part of the process which was unexpected. When offers came in that's when the benefits of having Carolina One and Dana started to show. Having someone who understood all the parts of the process, what to expect, and which agencies to use for the real-estate law firm and repair contractors were a huge weight off our shoulders. The cost estimator was spot-on as well, so there were no surprises during closing.
