Ellen McDonough was incredible to work with and changed our home buying experience. She is diligent, responsive, and quickly tailored our search for exactly what we were looking for. Ellen has clear knowledge of the San Antonio neighborhoods and insights into the homebuying process. Moving from out of town, Ellen gave us the best introduction to San Antonio making us feel right at home!

In a time sensitive situation, Ellen and Jamie at Phyllis Browning absolutely delivered. Their professionalism and timeliness is the reason why we will gladly use Phyllis Browning in the future and look forward to working with them again.

I worked with Bevin Crow, who works with Ellen McDonough at this company. Bevin was wonderful, kind, helpful, prompt, and available. Being new to San Antonio, I really depended on Bevin’s insight and knowledge of the properties and neighborhoods. She stayed with me until we found just the right one for me and then walked me through the closing.

Bevin and Ellen worked with us for years. They were very patient and understood what we were looking to find. Our list of do's and don'ts was very long but they learned them, knew them, and understood us as buyers. We could not be more pleased with them - we would never have found the new house without their help.

I wouldn’t be able to know where to start if I wanted to complain because no issues ever came up!

We originally met Ellen McDonough as a seller’s agent at an open house back in 2013. We liked her more than the house, so we enlisted her help in finding us a home. She worked with us as young first-time homebuyers to find the perfect house for us and helped us navigate that process. Over the past dozen years, Ellen has become much more than our real estate agent – she is a friend, advisor, confidant and real estate therapist. Unfortunately, “perfect houses” don’t always stay perfect forever as life stages change, and families grow. Ellen literally worked with us for years, showing us countless houses, to find our next perfect home - getting to know Bevin and Jamie along the way, who were always helpful as well. Ellen and her team, once again, were very patient and diligent in helping us through a long buying process of our future home and a short listing/showing/selling process of our past home. Ellen is knowledgeable without being overbearing, attentive but not pushy and professional but also fun! I could go on and on, but I literally could not recommend Ellen and her team enough and have recommended her to many friends looking for help over the years.

We cannot recommend Ellen McDonough highly enough! Thanks to her deep knowledge of the area, incredible network, and relentless hustle, Ellen found us a home in our absolute dream location before it even hit the market. Ellen was strategic, proactive, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. She anticipated our needs, advocated for us every step of the way, and made what could have been a stressful process feel seamless and exciting. We’re so grateful for Ellen's expertise and dedication—without her, we would’ve missed out on a truly special opportunity. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond, look no further than Ellen McDonough

Ellen McDonough, Bevin Crow & Jamie McDonough went above and beyond in helping us look, find, appraise and secure the right home for us. Ellen and her team were always available to handle any obstacles that came our way. Ellen's Can Do attitude kept us on track, which was especially critical in this currently difficult Buyer's market. My husband and I are thrilled with the results of Ellen's hard work and diligence. She is the absolute best and a huge contributor to Phyllis Browning's success.

Ellen and Bevin are excellent and I am very grateful that we had the opportunity to work with them!

Ellen and Jamie were available 24/7 and made this process extremely easy. They were unbiased and gave great advice. They provided contacts to subs and contractors. They were great!
