Our house sold far faster than expected and we were under the gun to find something that fit the bill quickly. We remodeled our last home ourselves and have a pretty good understanding of what sorts of issues old homes can have, so we were pretty choosy about what we wanted and in what neighborhood we needed it in. She took us to see numerous houses and helped us make offers on 3 different properties. Unfortunately in this hot real estate market our first two offers got outbid. On the last house she really went to bat for us with a difficult seller and our offer was ultimately accepted. Like I said we are extremely nit-picky buyers, but we couldn't be happier with our new home. But for me what really made the experience of buying a home with Deirdre was her sense of humor, and her knowledge of old homes and design.
