I think Dan's experience in negotiation and contracts played a big part in our ability to get the first house we made an offer on. His read on the sellers and their motivations helped us shape our offer and make it really appealing. This was super important, as several properties we had viewed prior sold for well over asking as buyers tried to outbid each other. We had a budget to keep but I really feel we ended up with the best house we could afford. As a first time homebuyer, the process is pretty intimidating. Having Dan there to guide us through it and knowing he had our best interests at heart really put us at ease. If anything was present (or wasn't) in the disclosures that we needed to consider, he made sure we knew about it. No surprises. I don't think I could have asked for a better person to help me through this process.
