As complete "newbie's" to purchasing a home, my husband and I felt like we had the absolute best team to lead us to success. Honestly without Cory and her team I don't think we would be here today as homeowners. We were very intimidated entering this competitive Bay Area market without the slightest clue on where to begin, and Cory went above and beyond not only searching for the perfect home for us, but outlining steps to the process in easily digestible bits, educating us on the housing market, sharing her knowledge of the neighborhoods in Alameda, and general tips and tricks on what to look for in a new home, She never hesitated to hop on the phone with us after work hours/nights/weekends to answer questions and always responded promptly to texts and emails and was always very professional. She spent extra time reviewing the disclosure packets with us to make the information more digestible. She made sure we had all the facts for us to make a well-informed and educated decision, and because of this we felt confident in putting in an offer to our home, We ended up using one of her recommended Mortgage Brokers, Erick Byrd from CrossCountry Mortgage, who was absolutely phenomenal. When I say we had the dream-team, we truly had the best in the business! I could not be more grateful for Cory and Erick's time, assistance and support as we navigated purchasing our first home. They provided the facts and figures in the most simplistic terms for us to easily digest and understand, and were there for us when we felt overwhelmed to talk through next steps. Even after closing, Cory has been here for us to help provide reputable contractors she's come across in the business and resource lists for work that needs to get done. Rick and I feel like we were so well taken care of and that the process to finding a home was a team effort! We are so grateful to have worked with Cory, Erick, the Red Oak Realty and CrossCrountry Mortgage teams. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us purchase our first home - for something that can be so overwhelming and a huge financial decision, we felt like we were making the best, educated decision for us, and this is because of the amazing people we worked with.
