Over the last few years we have been working with the Christy Shiers and Dan Riley to find a new home in our existing neighborhood of Madison Park. We wanted a home that met our next phase of life criteria. Christy was very patient with the numerous properties we looked at before making a selection. The house needed updates and she quickly helped us schedule meetings with service providers to understand what the expense would be to bring the house up to date. I have a bias toward making sure I am not leaving any value on the table, and Christy helped us arrive at a negotiating strategy that resulted in a fair price for us and the seller. She and Dan had resources for all the various inspections we did prior to finalizing the purchase agreement. We remodeled the house before we moved in 9 months later and then sold our existing house. It was a great house, however we had raised 2 boys and 2 dogs there, so it needed some freshening up. Christy and the team assessed what was needed to be appealing to the market. They arranged for all the service providers, specified the work and managed the work. We only paid the cost of the service providers – that is it! Fantastic! Within a week, we received a good offer that was close to our asking price. They advised us to take the offer, carefully explaining the strength of the offer compared to other scenarios. We accepted the offer and we are glad we did. One of the competitor houses was on the market for months and we closed in less than 30 days. All done, in our new house, loving it!
