Real estate has been a lifelong interest of Christopher's since his first land investment at the age of 15. Over the years since, he designed and built homes while investing in real estate in four states, including here in Sarasota, Florida. His consulting firm, specializing in leadership and sales, worked with hundreds of real estate professionals in the new home sales and marketing industry throughout California, Washington, Arizona, New York City and Atlanta. Originally from the Northeast, Christopher, like so many others, discovered Sarasota on a winter getaway from Maine 25 years ago. Within six months he moved to this special place. In subsequent years, business travels and life events placed him in various locations from Atlanta to San Diego. Nonetheless, the allure of Sarasota made it his preferred yearly destination; now it's home once again. Christopher has created a reputation for insightful, effective communication. Whether successfully negotiating multimillion-dollar corporate contracts, reorganizing interdisciplinary teams in business or simply enabling two parties to communicate more thoughtfully, he is dedicated to producing positive results for every customer he serves. Over the years, Christopher has been privileged with a network of connections from across the United States to Germany, India and the U.K. These connections provide a wealth of opportunity for home sellers and buyers in our Florida Gulf Coast region, given its international draw. Christopher has enjoyed many years working with charitable endeavors, including as a board member and partner at SVP International (philanthropic network focused on solving communities' social challenges) and a member of Gen Next (organization driving generational progress in education, economic growth and global security). Christopher and Angie made our home buying experience top-notch. They are patient, rational and extremely sharp. Accordingly, they took our objective purchase criteria as a filter, but developed an understanding of our qualitative wants that ultimately helped us select a home that we could not be happier with. Perhaps most important: they did not sell us a home - they helped us reach conclusions in an otherwise mystifying experience where there really are no boundaries to the choices that can be made. They were patient while we arrived there and, at times, guided us away from purchases that would have been mistakes. I typically do not write a review for anything or anyone, but the outstanding service I received from Angie Walters and Christopher Bush calls for an exception. Angie/Chris put quality over quantity when it came to helping my family and I secure a home. What I mean by quality is we were not just a “number” to them, they genuinely cared to get to know us and familiarize themselves with what we were comfortable with when purchasing a home. They provided great advice, patient with my asks and knew when to be aggressive in order to get us under contract! Even after closing, they continue to help me by providing contractor contacts and making sure that we were enjoying the home. In the current housing market we live in today, you need a power couple like Angie/Chris for your real estate needs! Thank you both for your great support! When my husband and I decided to move to Sarasota, FL, from California over a year ago, we wanted to find a realtor that had great business acumen and commercial savvy. We wanted to find someone who understood market trends from an investment point of view (both new homes and existing homes), and one that would give sound advice when needed without considering their own personal agenda. We both are working/traveling professionals with limited time and availability and needed a realtor that would do a lot of the heavy lifting for us. Christopher Bush and Angie Walters have these traits and so much more. In such a fast-paced real estate market where homes often sell overnight with cash offers, we were handicapped by the fact that we were constantly on the road and lived in another state. Regardless, Chris and Angie were quick to send listings our way that met the criteria that we provided as soon as the listings hit the market, made themselves available to view the home as soon as the sellers would allow, and would give sound advice whenever needed. During our year-long search, we were under contract 3 times. We ended up backing out of 2 after our inspection reports came in and closed on the third. Chris and Angie’s professionalism, patience, and unwavering support during the process was exceptional and we cannot be happier in our new home. Saying we would recommend Chris and Angie is an understatement. They are amazing people and I cannot imagine having anyone else by our side during any and all real estate transactions.
We worked with Chris and Angie to help us find a condo on the mainland so we could downsize and move from our home on the Keys. We found them attentive, conscious of our needs, and open to all our requirements. Our requirements were not easy to fulfill, but working with this team it did not feel like there were any obstacles. They sought to make the buying process as easy and glitch-free as possible. We appreciated their follow-through on our personal requests and the speed with which they fulfilled them. Though we know they were busy with other customers and closings we never felt we were anything less than number one for them. Highly recommend.
