A native to North Carolina, Charlie grew up in the SouthPark area of Charlotte. After graduating from Myers Park High School, he attended Central Piedmont Community College where he pursued his passion for customer service and food by earning a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. After college he worked his way up to become manager and owner of one Charlotte's most popular restaurants, Rheinland Haus. In 2005, Charlie shifted gears and sold the business to earn his real estate license. He has been with the Allen Tate Realtors since 2006 earning numerous awards which include Winners, Masters and Legend Club recognition. Charlie is truly a people person who enjoys helping others and being a Realtor®. He has extensive knowledge of the Charlotte market, from the beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods and historic sites to the unique shopping, dining, and entertainment hubs. I had a great experience working with Charlie during my real estate adventures. In a tough buyers market, we were able to secure a property in about a month that was below list price. I was in need of a new primary residence due to my divorce, and we found the perfect house that met most of my requirements. He worked closely with my listing agent on my existing home to make sure the transition was smooth. Charlie coordinated all of the due diligence activities to ensure the property was proper order. Charlie even had a European vacation in the middle of all the process. He schedule a backup realtor while he was away, but he still kept in touch even though he was vacationing.
