We had moved out of the area while our home was being sold. Ashley made the process of selling the home remotely, as it were, easy. Having her handle many of the details of getting needed repairs done, and all the other details that go with selling a home, gave us a lot of peace of mind during the process. When offers came in, she made up a very intuitive spreadsheet that outlined the offers and the inter-related contingencies, so that the bids were much easier to understand. After our first meeting I knew I wanted her to be my agent, even though I went into that meeting thinking I had already chosen another agent. She was so positive and made me feel that she would figure out a way to deal with any obstacles that arose. That feeling proved to be exactly right. Ashley has a formidable knowledge base concerning the physical structure of houses, the housing market, and the process of selling a house. She answered innumerable questions for me and always steered me in the right direction. When she didn't know offhand, she found out. She is a brainy agent, and that greatly enhances the chances of success. She is a great negotiator. Cool as a cucumber, she helped keep me steady. Although she doesn't have a crystal ball, she has a good sense of the various probabilities involved. She is not pushy. She respects the fact that ultimately you have to make the decisions. But she outlines the alternatives with clarity so that you can make the best decision possible. Ashley has a great intuition about when to hold firm and when to compromise. The State Department should hire her. Ashley sold our house and we moved to a different city. My only regret is that I have no chance of running into her in Memphis. She is a fine woman and about as nice as they come. I give her six stars.
