Jim was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He guided us through every step of the process and helped us navigate all the complexities with ease. His advice was thoughtful, strategic, and ultimately led to us securing an incredible offer on our new home. What really stood out was how communicative and responsive he was. He always kept us informed and answered questions quickly. On top of that, he’s simply easy to work with: professional, approachable, and always looking out for our best interests. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this process and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

James was outstanding to work with on both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our condo. He was consistently responsive, highly attentive, and clearly understood our needs from the start. His market knowledge and negotiation skills were a major advantage on both sides of the transaction, and he navigated each step with confidence and precision. James made a complex process feel straightforward, and the results spoke for themselves. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-tier realtor at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty

Buying my first condo in Chicago was a big moment, and James Ziltz made it feel easy. He was sharp, resourceful, and consistently on it. Every question got a clear answer. Every message got a fast reply. No pressure, no confusion, no stress. He also set me up with great contractors, which saved me time and energy after closing. Above all, he was kind, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me land the right place. If you want someone who knows his stuff and treats you like a human, he is truly the best person.

We had a great experience working with Jim on buying a new home and selling the old one. Jim is communicative, experienced, patient, and no-nonsense - he definitely helped make the process less stressful. We are very happy with our experience and grateful that he was our agent!

Jim helped us twice in finding a home; first our condo in the city as newlyweds and then our home in the burbs when we welcomed our twins. He is extremely knowledgeable (in the Chicago and Suburban markets) and incredibly responsive which was important for us since we were first time home buyers/sellers. He made both the buying and selling process as easy as it could be, keeping the line of communication open 7 days/week. He cares for his clients and their families (we have referred him already to family) and you can truly feel it in his words, attention, and commitment. We couldn't imagine going through this journey without Jim. He is more than just our realtor; he's become a friend.

Working with Jim was a great experience! He went above and beyond throughout the home search and closing process. As a first-time home buyer, he made the entire process from start to finish a breeze. Jim was open and honest about his professional opinion while still being supportive and understanding of the specifics I was looking for in a first home. I highly recommend working with Jim and his team, everyone was extremely helpful and willing to jump in to answer any questions or concerns I had. Do yourself a favor and hire Jim for your next home purchase!

Selling your home is a daunting experience, especially for those of us who are selling their home for the first time. Emotions are high, questions are plentiful, and uncertainty runs wild as you part ways with the place that you created so many memories. From start to finish, Jim had me covered. He calmed my fears, answered my questions, and put my mind at ease during the mental back-and-forth sparked by leaving my condo that I owned for six years.   Jim is an astute realtor who not only has a firm handle on the business of real estate, but his client service is second to none. He was quick to answer any and all questions - no matter how trivial - and helped me confidently navigate the unknowns of selling something near and dear to my heart.

Jim streamlines the process and takes the stress away from the selling experience. Without a doubt, I would recommend Jim to anyone considering selling their home.

We highly recommend Jim! Jim sold our 2 flat in the Lakeview area. Two years prior, we'd listed this building with a different top agent/firm. The offers we got at that time were $100k under the asking price recommended by the agent, so we decided at the time to hang onto the building. In 2022, we tried again, this time working with Jim, who was highly recommended from a close friend. Jim proposed the same asking price as before, but this time we ended up in a bidding war, ultimately selling our property for $25k over asking! The residential real estate market was better for sellers the second time around, but a lot of the credit for this success goes to Jim. Jim walked through the property with us and recommended some very practical and reasonable improvements before we put it on the market. We were glad we took his advice, because the building looked great after this work was completed! We think that made a big difference in the quality of the offers we received for the property.   Jim was fantastic to work with throughout the entire sale process. He was always very responsive, proactive, gave good advice, and went out of his way to be helpful. We don't live in the area where this property is located, so to make it easy on us, Jim handled all the appointments for us at the property leading up to the closing. We were grateful for this and for all the other ways he made the processes easy and stress free. He's a great agent, but he's also a great person we really enjoyed working with.
