Five stars isn't enough for Kim! She represented my husband and I when we bought our first home in Cambridge six years ago. We recently moved to Boston, and worked with her again for both the sale of our Cambridge house and the purchase of our Boston condo. Due to a variety of factors on our buyers' side, our Cambridge house was under contract for the better part of a year, during which time we were frequently in communication with Kim. She has fantastic in-depth knowledge of the local real estate market, is incredibly responsive, gives rock solid advice, and is also just a fun and cool person :)

Kim went above and beyond expectations while representing me twice, as an out-of-state buyer and seller. Being out-of-state presented many challenges and Kim made the process seamless. This review is specifically for Kim Miles from Charlesgate who was our realtor for our daughter's condo purchase in Boston. Kim was great to work with especially since my daughter was in Boston and we live in Boca Raton. Kim dedicated a great amount of time helping my daughter figure out which neighborhood to live in, what type of apartment to buy and was extremely patient along the way. My daughter also skyped us in to view the apartments and Kim was cheerful and helpful and spoke with us as well to discuss pros and cons of each neighborhood and apartment. Between my daughter, wife and I we had 3 different opinions on neighborhood, type of building and criteria that were important to us. Kim was able to successfully navigate all the different opinions and worked with my daughter to show her a variety of condos and then spent a lot of time with me helping me understand the bidding process which is new to me versus other cities I have bought houses and condos in. We unsuccessfully bid on 3 places but each time I learned a little more and relied heavily on Kim for guidance to make sure we were being competitive but not overpaying too much for a property. I totally trusted Kim's knowledge about properties in Boston and continued to better understand the process. The 4th week in I went up to Boston and Kim arranged to have me see about 15 properties one weekend and we picked the right one to make an offer on and we were successful in buying that condo. She worked very effectively with me on a bidding strategy where I feel that I got a very good deal on the right condo in the right neighborhood in the right building. Once the offer was accepted Kim sprung into action connecting us to a very good mortgage broker, and inspector and a closing attorney. She was proactive in every step of the process until we closed in just 4 weeks and even after we closed has kept in contact with my daughter to make sure she is happy. My daughter and I are beyond ecstatic- she is living there about 2 weeks and I visited last week - Kim also made sure the closing went well - since I was in Boca Raton at the time. I would highly recommend Kim to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in Boston and when we sell this condo in 5-7 years - subject to change - I would use Kim to handle my sale.
