Love it

We switched to EyeMD EMR in 2020 and are absolutely thrilled with this company. The software is easy to use, the training and support from this company is fantastic and they truly treat you like family. The best part is that the software is customizable by the user so we don’t have to submit tickets like other EMRs and wait for the customization to be done - we are in full control! I would highly recommend looking at this company because they are far the best in their field.

I have not been asked to write this review but feel compelled to do so. We transitioned from another ophthalmology specific EMR vendor to EyeMD in 2017. We are a clinic of over 40 MDs and 20 ODs with 20 locations covering every subspecialty of ophthalmology. Are our doctors demanding? Do bears $h;7 in the woods? Our size and complexity push the limits of many vendors that do not have the depth and breadth of knowledge, technology, and support to handle our practice. This has not been the case with EyeMD. From the start, and still after many years with EyeMD, it is absolutely clear we are a better practice and provide better and more efficient care for our patients than we ever did prior to this system. Even this many years out, Abdiel and Gus are readily available and have open ears to our feedback. Never out grow your EMR is not a slogan. It’s the truth. We’re very appreciative to have a partner like this.

We chose EyeMD EMR after reviewing several systems. It has been our first and only EMR. Since our go live date in 2010, the service has always been exceptional. The product only improved despite starting out head and shoulders above many other systems. It is easy and intuitive, and in my opinion, most closely approximated certain aspects of a paper chart. This helped in making the transition directly from paper to electronic records. Finally, they remain on the forefront as the regulatory environment continues to evolve, giving a sense of security with a strong partner.

I’m so pleased that our doctors chose EyeMD EMR! While my peers struggle I forge along. The system has proven to be all that & more. Customer service is just unbelievable. Here’s to many more years!!! 

EyeMD EMR has an excellent, user friendly interface that is designed specifically for the needs of Ophthalmologists. Installation was flawless, and technical support is always available with superior knowledge of this program.  EyeMD EMR has saved our clinic countless hours.  The system for displaying and reviewing diagnostic tests is top notch, and compares favorably to other stand-alone diagnostic testing software. We highly recommend it!  

We selected EyeMD EMR after our previous EMR ceased to exist. Data entry is straightforward, and not much of a change from a paper chart.  Installation of the software, done remotely, was quick.  But the most important aspect of our purchase was - and continues to be - the personal interaction with trainers and technical staff.  Their availability, knowledge, and patience are superb.  Thanks for taking great care of us!

I have been a happy user of EyeMD EMR since 2011.  This is my third EHR, the best thus far, and probably the last. I have been very pleased with the customer support, in addition to the multiple features available on the system. We are a practice of 6 MDs in three locations. Image capturing and importing from the VF, OCT, angiography, and topography machines is excellent, without having to pay extra for an image/document management system. Auto generation of letters to primary docs and referring physicians is easily performed, and I can't remember the last time I even dictated a letter!  We are very pleased to having qualified for meaningful use, which paid for the software. Because of the flexibility of the system and ability to easily modify elements and plans, one is only limited by one's imagination is terms of how robust and complete the system can be.
