When we found the perfect one, he helped navigate the process and answered all our questions to make the best offer possible to get the home. He is very personable and listened to what we wanted. Bridge DeLong is a fantastic realtor and someone we can only heartily recommend. The reasons are too many to list, but we'll pick out our personal highlights after selling and buying a lot of properties over the years. We've observed over the years that its easy to look 'busy' as a Realtor, but there is nothing performative about the work that Bridge does when selling a property. He is passionate about sweating the small stuff in order to find the details that will make or break a listing and will go above and beyond to tell a unique story on every property he lists. Bridge will (pleasantly) surprise you! In our case, after living in our property for almost 9 years, thanks to Bridge, we found that that we had a working antique sump pump in our basement. How, well, because Bridge went down there for an hour with a flashlight to take a look around and found it! We also found out that we had wood cutting privileges on a portion of a neighbors property. We never knew that of course, we learned that because Bridge read all of the historical deeds and boundary agreements, not just our purchase agreement with the pervious seller. So, we've established that he really learns everything he can about the property in order to represent you as well as he can. The cherry on top ~ Bridge is also the funniest, warmest and most engaging realtor we've ever met, regardless of whether you are the buyer or seller!

It was a pleasure working with Bridge throughout the entire home buying process. It took us several months to find the right home in the right area for us, as we were coming from out of state without a great deal of knowledge about Maine. Bridge was incredibly patient and willing to spend time showing us many homes in a wide geographic area, both in person and then over video once we were back home in Chicago, some more than once. We appreciated his deep knowledge of home construction and mechanics and of coastal Maine. We always appreciated his advice and candor.
