It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture and a wonderful way to mark such an important moment for our family. Arunan was much more than someone who helped us complete a real estate transaction. His years of experience building homes were invaluable as we figured out how to navigate all our plans. He knows about permitting and what kind of electrical outlets are allowed in ADUs vs. guest houses. He knows about septic systems and oil furnaces (I had no idea what those were). He guided us through the lengthy inspection on a home we ultimately didn't buy, and he was kind, positive, honest, and objective every step of the way.
