Where to begin?! I first discovered Jessica via The Scout Guide Greenville. Before officially reaching out, I did what any responsible millennial would and went straight to her instagram (@roomandrevival). Her timeless aesthetic, love of old homes, and knowledge about GVL as a lifelong local herself was beautifully communicated through her social media. We eagerly setup a call 6 months prior to our cross-country move from Baton Rouge, LA. With three littles and one on the way, it was so important to have someone we could truly trust and hold our hand through this process. The market in GVL is so much tougher than we expected, especially as an outsider. Not only is it highly competitive, but there’s so many different pockets of town, each offering a different way of life. Through thoughtful questions and conversation, she understood what we were looking for and the areas to recommend. We toured several homes both virtually and in-person, off-market and brand new listings too. We even came super close to making an offer early on from afar, but with Jessica’s guidance we remained patient for THE ONE to come along. She was consistently great at pointing out all the pros and cons from an investment standpoint! So, patient we remained — and today I’m writing this review from the sunporch inside our beautiful home that dates back almost 100 years, and in the part of town that was first on our list. From negotiations to final walk-thru, no stone was left unturned. Even weeks after closing we were delighted to receive a thorough email that highlighted everything from our inspection that Jessica recommended addressing/updating, all from a buyer’s POV. Whether we sell in two years or twenty, we’re so thankful for this list which also included names of local professionals and businesses that she trusts and recommends!Outside of her genuine love for GVL and years of experience, Jessica’s friendly demeanor, intentionality, and extreme attention to detail were just some of the qualities that stood out to us and made our decision in choosing who to work with even easier.
