My family, the DePue's and Schoonovers, are original owners of property on Mink Pond Road leading to the three hunting and fishing lodges: Lehman Lake, Maskenozha and Mink Pond. My father lived at Mink Pond Lodge while his parents were caretakers there in the 1920's. As years went on, my father Richard DePue, inherited all the land except for one parcel. When he died my mother began selling some acreage using Davis R. Chant of Davis R. Chant Realtors. After her death my sister and I inherited the land. My parents home and land was sold by my sister using Chant Realtors. And she went on to use them when selling property in Shiola. In the past two years I have sold the two parcels of my inheritance with Daniel Piltz of Chant Realtors. Daniel has been nothing but an attentive agent for both sales. It took a long time to get these parcels sold, especially during COVID.
But Daniel was there every step of the way. I live in Alexandria, VA . . . born and raised in Bushkill and on this land. Daniel understood that it was time for me to sell but it would be an emotional process for me. My roots are now broken with "home" except for memories. It is hard to be happy and sad at the same time but relieved.
With all of this back story, I hope this testimonial sheds light on a long history of using a real estate brokerage that my family has worked with for years. Trust me, we would not have done so if Chant's agents weren't knowledgable, professional, and responsive to my needs. OH, these sales were all done via email, cell calls, mail (title companies) and via remote document signing. I know Mr. Chant marginally, and Daniel and I have never met, BUT I would use Daniel again. Now you all know that this is a company you can count on. If I had more land, I would use Daniel again. B.
