Christy Register and the Coldwell Banker team has been the only real estate group we've worked with in the Wilmington, NC area. Christy has helped me and my family purchase 3 properties over the past ~10 years. She helped us find a primary residence back in 2014 in Hampstead, then the next primary in 2021. She also helped us buy an investment property that we are renting out in Hampstead. Christy will tell you exactly how it is, meaning she is not scared to give you her honest opinion about the condition of the property, assessments that may impact us down the road, and knows to check certain big ticket items (such as HVAC) so that we are educated to make an offer or move onto the next. She never pressures us to buy the house, just educates us and allows us the time to make our decision. When the market was hot in 2021-2022, when we bought our investment property, she gave us directive on what kind of offer to make with regards to money down, earnest money, etc., so that other competitive bidders couldn't get the property we wanted. She can set you up with monthly reports, according to the criteria you set, to see any and all houses you would be interested in buying. She is a calming presence during the real estate closing with the attorney, and has all the contacts you would need during the entire purchasing process.
We feel that Christy is part of our family now. We continue to look for more investment opportunities and Christy is always there to answer questions on properties that we are just curious about. She goes out of her way to send us information on properties so that we don't waste our time.
