Jim Williams specializes in commercial and industrial real estate. He is a 54 year resident of St. Petersburg and a graduate of University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction. Jim has been a licensed Real Estate Agent and a licensed General Contractor for over thirty years. His direct involvement with owners, municipalities, designers and contractors allow a fluid project delivery from concept design and entitlements through construction and final closeout. His experience in development, construction and real estate provides his clients with a comprehensive view of their real estate investments. Working out of the Smith and Associates office on Beach Drive in St. Petersburg allows Jim to fulfill a life long passion in development of the downtown. During the past decade the transformation of the downtown and surrounding area has been spectacular. With the average age in St. Petersburg now at forty years old Jim plans to mentor the next generation. Jim is a member of the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership, the Real Estate Investment Council and the Suncoasters. He is past Chairman of the Downtown Business Council and former member of the Sports Council with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. Jim is married to Cindy Williams, an art teacher at Shorecrest Preparatory School. Cindy and Jim are members of the Museum of Fine Arts, the Salvador Dali Museum, The Art Center and Florida Craftsman.
