If you’re looking for a real estate agent who truly goes above and beyond, look no further than Scott Mills. As someone who was purchasing a condo in Asheville specifically for short-term rental investment, I needed an agent who could do far more than just show properties — I needed a strategic partner who understood the market inside and out. Scott delivered on every level. His knowledge of the Asheville market is simply exceptional. From neighborhood dynamics and pricing trends to the nuances of what makes a property perform well as a short-term rental, Scott brought a depth of insight that gave me real confidence throughout the entire process. He didn’t just point me toward listings — he helped me think through the investment strategically, sharing his read on local demand patterns, seasonal trends, and long-term appreciation potential. What truly set Scott apart was his command of local STR regulations and compliance considerations. Navigating short-term rental rules can be a minefield for out-of-market investors, but Scott walked me through every relevant ordinance and zoning consideration with clarity and precision. That knowledge alone saved me from potential costly missteps and allowed me to move forward with confidence. And through it all, Scott’s customer service was outstanding. He was responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in making sure the transaction went smoothly. Every question was answered thoroughly, every concern addressed promptly, and every step of the closing process was handled with professionalism and care. If you are purchasing property in the Asheville area — especially for investment purposes — Scott Mills is the agent you want in your corner. He earned my trust completely, and I would not hesitate to work with him again.
