I am writing this note to express our appreciation for the hard work and all the expertise that Nancy McAdam brought to bear on our recent purchase of a condo in the Chicago loop. 

To put things in perspective, my wife and I decided to put an offer on a short sale property in the loop. The seller's attorney, their staff and their realtor were mostly unreachable throughout the 8 month process. The process got bogged down in numerous side financial arrangements that the seller's team engaged in, throughout this period. This resulted in a 70+ day delay post our first communicated closing date. 

Without Nancy's persistance and due diligence in understanding the constantly evolving scenarios, and her guidance in setting our expectations, I am convinced we would have not reached closing. She even followed-up on behalf of the non-responsive seller's team to assist them in their process. At every stage, where we felt this transaction was falling apart, Nancy saved the day. 

The delays caused by the seller's team also resulted in the expiry of our mortgage rate lock period. Nancy worked with our bank to get them to waive some of the late charges and successfully brought this transaction to closure. She even got the seller's realtor's management to come to the table with funds to offset some of the charges we incurred. 

We sincerely appreciate Nancy's commitment, dependability, her calm follow through, her deep knowledge of the technicalities of the situation, and her polite but firm approach. All the qualities that helped us takes this to closing. 

My wife and I are extremely please we had Nancy on our side. Nancy is a real champ, and excelled at keeping the process moving, in what I now understand, was an unusually messy and lengthy transaction. THANK YOU, Nancy!!
